Beaumont Metal Works, Ltd is a small machine shop in Columbus Ohio specializing in the design and manufacturing of industrial belt grinders for the custom knifemaking industry. We use state of the art CNC machinery for milling and turning of all the components in out products.

The primary product is the KMG-1 grinder which uses a 2X72" abrasive belt and features a variety of tooling including contact wheels ranging in size up to 14", platen attachments, slack-belt attachments and the revolutionary "rotary platen" to name a few.

To compliment the grinders, Beaumont Metal Works also offers a diverse line of motors, controllers and power transmission products so that each machine can be set-up to suit the users specific requirements and budget.

The complete line of knifemaking machinery can frequently been seen and demonstrated at knifemaking hammer-ins and shows. The KMG-1 grinders can also be found in the school of the American Bladesmith Society located in Old Washington, Arkansas.
