We
are a father and son team and we make folders (most types),
hunters, and bowies. We forge all the carbon steels and
make our own high carbon damascus from high carbon steels
and 15N20. We make our own patterns and will also do customer
patterns.
I started making knives
part time in 1974 while working for the Fort Smith Fire
Department. After I Retired in 1990, I started making
knives full time. I am a member of the Arkansas Knifemakers
Association, the American Bladesmith Society, and a member
of the Knife Group Association. I was also in the Knifemakers
Guild from 1980 -2002. I have passed the performance test
for my Journeyman smith stamp in the ABS and will present
my knives for acceptance at the Blade Show in Atlanta
in 2004.
My favorite knives to make are damascus and automatics
and Folders.

I made my first Knife as a young man in 1980. I had
a very good teacher, my dad. I am a member of the Arkansas
Knifemakers Association, the American Blade Smith Society,
and the Knife Group Association. I have been working
hard the last 4 years by going to shows and listening
to people to see what they like. I would like to thank
my friends for all their help. I try to improve with
every knife I make and strive to make the best knife
possible.I love to work with my hands.
