I have had and interest in knifemaking and related subjects since about 1992. I got hold of a book on knifemaking and it kind of went from there. In keeping with that I decided to try making Damascus steel and have now been doing that for about 5 years.

I sell both damascus bar stock and bolster material to other knife makers as well as my knives from my website at www.damascus.co.nz 

Having attended 2 engraving classes in Austrailia some of my work includes gold inlay. Part of the pleasure I get from knifemaking is the contact I have with both makers and buyers because we all share  common interests and goals.
