I do believe they might cut it to length, their material comes in just under 12" and 23.5 lengths and they are the only place I know of that sells .160 thick 15N20 almost 3/16 of an inch thick, a piece of 3/16 15N20 forged to a piece of 80CrV2 steel would make for some interesting Damascus. The 80Crv2 steel is just 1084 with a little bit of chrome and 0.20% of vanadium which at the percent will restrict grain growth. It would be hard to mess it up if you just ht like regular 1084.
