I'll address three of your recent posts here in this thread.

First off, young men and women are always welcome here at the forums. Our youngest member here is Kevin Warner who is 11 years old. So come on in and join the fun.

In another thread you asked if membership is free. Yes, it is completely free. By registering, your staus will change from "unregistered user" to "CKD Elite Member". If you need any help getting registered, there are several folks here who can help.

Finally, regarding the tongs, when I first got started I just used a long pair of channel lock pliers and a pair of vise grips until I could find a place to get tongs.

On a humorous note I see where after watching the video from Hood's Woods, you said that you never knew it was so simple. I got a good giggle out of that one. I believe you will find that when an experienced smith gives a demonstration, he just makes it "look" simple. It will be difficult in the beginning, but it is quite rewarding, so stick with it.
