It was declared. It was wrapped and I even had paperworm from the store I got it from showing how it was "prepared" for travel so it was safe to take across the border. I believe the official wanted me to bribe him so to leave our luggage alone. But I refused to do so. So he took everything he could from us. I asked for his manager but none was available at 5am :s
