Hello I am new

Please excuse my inability to post in only English. I am a knifemaker in the United States and have met several SBC members here. I have been very impressed with the quality of their work and willingness to share their knowledge. There was never a doubt that the SBC represents something that goes beyond national borders and is an organization that all who believe in developing and preserving the art and history of knife making support. That is why I asked R. Vilar to become a member and have joined the SBC. I am honored to be a member. Although I am now seperated by language and distance I hope to serve as a good member and close the space in the years to come. Other United States knife makers have now also joined and I am sure they will introduce themselves here soon. I am also a member of the American Bladesmith Society and currently hold a journeyman rating. If I can be of any assistance please feel free to contact me.

Wow... thank you very much for your kind words. I didn?t know our group was receiving that much attention from the good folk abroad ... but I can tell you it?s whole hearted wellcome.

Cheers!

Hello,

Thanks for the consideration!
It's nice to see that SBC knifemaking is being recognized, and it's very honorable of you to commend our work!

And I'll do as you've said before: If we can be of any assistance, do not hesitate to contact us!
The blacksmithing/knifemaking language is universal.

Be Welcome!
