Good day,

Looking to make sure that the knife Iím making for my wife wonít run into issues.

Iím looking to use brass spacers between layers of pattern welded steel and between the steel and the handle (paper macarta).

It will be a carry piece so there is always a chance of getting wet. Iím worried about bi-metallic corrosion or just regular corrosion if steel and brass arenít subject to bi-metallic.

Do I need to seal with epoxy in between or is this asking for trouble. I know gold would be immune to issues but canít afford enough to do it.
