beaver tail leather
Has anyone had experience using beaver tail leather? If so how heavy is it? Is it very durable?

Mark - I've used some but it's been awhile - mainly you would want to use similarly to snakeskin or any other exotic as an inlay or accent.
here's an example of a mtn man pouch that I have in my archives (I didn't make it though) - the beavertail is used as the flap on this "beavertail style poucj" __________________ Chuck Burrows Hand Crafted Leather & Frontier Knives dba Wild Rose Trading Co Durango, CO chuck@wrtcleather.com www.wrtcleather.com The beautiful sheaths created for storing the knife elevate the knife one step higher.
