Thumbs up

Stumbled upon this Ed. Know how you feel, I had a lung cancer scare and my first set of DRs. were next to useless, less than useless as I owe them money for nothing but pain and incompetence and a useless bronchoscopy and biopsy that was "inconclusive".
Went to the best pulmonary oncologist in WNC and first thing he said when he saw my CT scan was, "That doesn't look like cancer" in my left lung. Whatever it is it shrank by the next CT scan. I had enough on my table without incompetent doctors.
Had kidney cancer and it was removed laparoscopically in Oct. of 2015 at UT med center in Knoxville, hardly a scar and not where you'd expect it.
No VA, last time they had me they removed the steel plates in my left arm while I was awake. Nope, ain't going back there. That was in the early 70s.
Glad you got it sorted out Ed.

Things have more or less stabilized with my lungs. I now have "treatments" with a drug called Rituxan every two months. Last CT scan showed no changes in the past year. I have a really great Oncologist. Last time we visited he made a statement that was very encouraging..... "I suspect that coronary artery disease will kill you before the stuff in your lungs does." He was making a reference as to how slowly it's growing....not that I have coronary artery disease.

This getting old thing certainly isn't for the faint of heart!
