Mystery
Just got my computer back from repair and thought I would post a couple of pics.
This one is just over 13" Forged 5160 with mystery wood handle...Both Joe Keesler and B.R Hughs said it could be coco bolo or rose wood.....Red liners and NS pins. Let me know what you think...Good or bad. Thanks for looking Mace __________________ ABS Journeyman Smith www.laurelrockforge.com "Ain't nothing more useless than a dull knife or a short piece of rope" |

I like the semi roach-belly design. Way more sophisticated than a frontier type knife. Excellent!

Mace, Looks great bud ! Does look a lot like Cocobolo. Either way it turned out very nice.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys.
No sheath for this one, but it's on the to do list. I wouldn't use this one for any heavy chopping.....It's a little light for that.......Very fast and sharp. Oh yeah it's pointy too! (found that out the hard way) Again thanks Mace __________________ ABS Journeyman Smith www.laurelrockforge.com "Ain't nothing more useless than a dull knife or a short piece of rope" |
