Ladder Pattern Bowie
Sorry to be a tease...but the customer for this one doesnt have it yet....so I just wanted to show my first ladder pattern. It is 176 layers of 1080 and L6....the stack started as 6 pieces of 1/8" 1080 and 5 pieces 3/16" L6.
I used the angle grinder to put grooves halfway thru the bar at the last draw and then pressed flat. Resulting knife has a 10.5" blade with a damascus guard and elk handle. |

Looks good from the little of it that we can see. Looks like the grooves you cut were a little farther apart than I'm used to seeing, but ends up not being a bad thing and makes a good looking blade. Are you going to post a picture of the entire knife?
