South American Artists

Ivan and friends,

If you know of any knife artists that engrave, scrimshaw, carve, etc. Bring them over to the "Fine Embellishment" forum so that we can get aquainted!
"Fine Art" has no language barrier!!

Your friend, Tim Adlam

Hello, Tim

We had a scrimshander over here wich was very promising but early in her career she had some health problems related to her hands and decided to give up. Her father was a great knife collector and there are a number of knives with his work on it around. If I can find some pictures, I'll post them when I get back from the Brasilia show. I have seen the work of a couple more guys but it goes from acceptable to ridiculous - not really professional.
I don't think there are any engravers over here.
Hopefully, with the fast expansion of the custom knife market we will start to see more artists in this areas soon.
