Slow down wheel for a Wilton

Ok, I got the big bargain on the Wilton Square Wheel for $300.00 and now am looking to switch out the 10" drive wheel for a 7". Problem is that I am having a hard time justifying the nearly 50% of my total grinder price for the wheel alone. Local machinists are quoting in the 200 range to manufacturer one. Anyone out there have some "thrifty" suggestions? As always, thanks in advance for the help.
