1/2 ground fillet knife ???

I got a question...a friend of mine has gotten a request to make a fillet knife for a guy, and the guy wants him to hollow grind one side of the fillet knife and leave the other side flat!
Has anybody ever heard of this?
Does anybody think it will work?
Does anybody think it will not work?
Appreciate your input!!!!
Keith

yes but

point to the left ,edge down
should be the flat side
ALL of those factory knives r ground on the logo side for looks
heat treat first
then grind
a filet knife is the HARDEST thing there is to grind and grind
right

Don't forget to ask him if he is Left or right handed,

it will let you know which side to put the hollow grind on.
