Welcome Trish/Davis to the forum. We don't have many ladies post here, much less lady knifemakers. Feel free to join in any time.

Now, y'all boys be nice, there's a lady present. Act like y'all got some class, OK?

All she wants is a decent kitchen knife! Don't we all, don't we all.

Not cussing too much, bathing at least once a week whether you need it or not, and wearing clean underwear just in case you have to go to the hospital.

I always wear my holey drawers that way I figgered I'm covered. Bathing once a WEEK! That's down right sacrilegious tain't it?

aww, gee . . .

thanks, Dana .. Chuck ... hammerdownnow ... Tai... et al for the welcome.

Heard this from a friend's mother: A lady would sooner go out in public without her underwear than without her gloves.

So I guess you guys are safe.....*g*... And I really don't care what your keyboards look like, my own is a mess!

hmmm, time for a new thread, I made a filet knife tonight...
Trish

Tai - Got some great advise and a beautiful family! Wish only the best for you. I was very "lucky", got both of mine through college.
Now one's a Policeman and one's in Jewelry Retail. And I have three wonderful grandkids! (I assure you I'll not take full blame for any of this).
Chuck - Belated birthday wishes. I spent thirty two days on a commercial grouper boat when much younger. Only other guys on there (besides my best friend) never got off the boat in daylight. Very rough bunch of dudes! My buddie and I finally fell asleep three days out - back to back sitting up. Yeah, we were pretty scared! Needless to say, I don't enjoy bottom fishing any more and if grouper is "catch of the day" I eat somewhere else.

This second boat things got me worried. Does it mean if everyone takes their boat out of the water, I'll no longer have beach front property?

Oh yes, welcome to the forums Trish.

Carl Rx

ps - knife in the hat - where are we on this?

Yeah, Trish, can we see the filet knife? Pictures are most welcome here. Feel free to post one any time.

Crex, the Iron in the Hat is still alive and well. I updated the posts so they would be up near the top. We're still set for a Valentine's day drawing.

Hey Trish, why don't you get in on it--look for the info post on our main page--we'd love to have you.

I got a call from the middle school today. They had to write my son up for "degenerate behavior". He doesn't get that from me!

It must come from his mother's side.
