Small Hunter
Finally something new to show. Not that I have been inactive; the last three knives went so fast I didn't have a chance to take a picture! This one is just ready and hopefully will sell by end of September - hunting season!
It's a small, 4 1/2 inch drop point hunter / skinner made from can-welded random pattern 15N20, 1095 and 5% powdered nickel. The scales are purpleheart, bolster and pins are steel. I stamped the bolster instead of the blade, for a change (okay, I forgot!) but it worked out alright. Let me know what you think! Cheers, Chris [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] __________________ Chris K. Two Mountains Forge Delta, BC, Canada www.twomountainsforge.com |

Chris,
I think it looks great! A good looking sheath to go with it too. |

Thank you, gents, for your review. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. I find 15N20 is a little harder to work with than say the 10-series of carbon steels. I find it tends to crack around the edges more than any other steel I have used before when I forge it. Any comments??
