Walter Grigg Folder with Provenance

Walter Grigg Jumbo Grand Daddy Barlow design folder with Rosewood scales, originally owned by Ret. Army Colonel Thomas "Tom" Myerchin. Tom was a highly decorated Special Forces Green Beret with several tours in Viet Nam. His rank and name along with Infantry are engraved on the reverse nickel-silver bolster.

His full career is highlighted below:

Awesome knife and with provenance that is spot on. I didn't know him in Special Forces in Vietnam, Loc Ninh was way south in III Corp, and I was up north in II corp. However, one of my good friends and fellow SF remembers him from mike force days. Lots of imposters out there, even in obits... the good Colonel isn't one of them. RIP Colonel.. and I know his knife has found a good home.

PS: Loc Ninh was a heck of a hot camp... and site of one of the most famous stands against tank led attack in 1972. Also a heck of a battle in 1967.

The Grigg has really disappeared from Ebay. You use to see them offered from time to time but quite scarce the last year or so.
