Thanks for all the nice comments folks!!
Paul, I finished the blade to 1000 grit before I heat-treated it. Then cleaned it up with 1500 grit and 2000 grit. Then a very light buff with a loose muslin wheel and Lea 312 compound. The aluminum and abolone was hand finished to 2000 grit and polished with Mother's Mag and Aluminum Cleaner. Steve |

I don't usually like that high a polish but on some knives it looks great; this is one of them. This really is one great looking knife.

#### Just been up early to finish a few blade and saw your pit bull I am impressed with the handle shape You really have shown a bullies nose in there with out having to go thru all the hassles of carving or etching it #### If it doesnt look like one of those little bull dozers They are bully dozers not bully dogs When they want to go were they are not and if you are in the way they just walk straight thru you LOL
Once again Totally impressed and the blade carries the shape so ####ed well. My apologies all for not being in here in a more regular fashion But now that I am retired Just dont seem to find the time now that everyone seems to think I have all this time on my hands ( They dont take into account the knife work LOL ) Jack |
