New Patterns
Tell me what you think of these two new patterns.
Both are made from S30V (59-60Rc) a little over 5/32 stock hollow ground. This one has about 3 1/4" blade and taper tang Next, is a no nonsense, workingman's skinner, with a 3 1/2" blade. Great for backpacking or backcountry hunts where space/weight is at a premium. And the S30V will preform wonderfully without touch ups (no need to take up more space with sharpeners) __________________ Ken Davis Customs Handmade Knives Knifemakers Guild Florida Knifemakers Association Last edited by Ken Davis; 10-24-2002 at 04:24 PM. |

what did you use
What did you use to groove the bolster? I like the accent it gives it.

Ken,
Both are nice designs. The skinner will be a real user with the S30V. The hiking knife will be a nice light heavy duty utility knife. Bob Sigmon |
