A Nice "Small" Job...

Well, I thought I would try this out and post some work my friend, and forum
moderator, Jim Small recently completed for me.. Here's the makers side bolster
of a pearl folder by South African maker Buzz Bezuidenthout..(say that three
times real fast..LOL)...

And a picture of the whole knife..Job well done Jim!! Best, Rich

I believe I saw this work in progress while visiting with Jim at his studio before the Blade show.
Turned out great Jim, I like the effect!
And...really nice images Rich.
Thanks for showing!

Tim

That deep-cut engraving of Jim's is something else, ain't it?

Amazing, beautiful work. I hope to pay a visit to Jim sometime soon. I've always had an urge to engrave. Eventually, I'm going to see if I have what it takes!

Rich
I just slid over here after viewing that piece of art from that Spanish guy. I hope you don't mind if I copy that close-up and keep it for my files. Very nice photo job. If you get a chance take a look at Don's post. Absolutely fantastic work on that handle.....
Thanks for a great photo....and thanks guy for the compliments....make a southern boy feel good!

Real nice folder. I really like the engraving on it, especially the relieved and stippled part.
Looks great!

Jeremy
