Custom Knife?
I received a knife from my boss for my B-Day and I can't place the name anywhere. I've done several searches with no results. the knife is full tanged hunter, dark grained wood handle. The blade is mirror polished with 11 THOESEN on the tang. On the handle there is an emblem with 100 years in the circle and some other writing which is unrecognizable even with a magnifying glass. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dwayne Base.

A friend recognized the symbol on the emblem. The company is Dutton Lainson. I emailed them and hope for a response. Dwayne

Found Maker
D. Thoesen e-mailed me. Knife was number eleven of twenty-five, but the knife came as a set with a gun. D. Thoesen made the knife in 1966 for his employer's centennial celebration, and still works there even now and makes knives parttime by word of mouth. thanks to all readers, even though no help was given
