A question for our Asian freinds

A time ago Big Austin posted pics of an engraving system that he got over in Asia (Tiawan made I think). If I remember correctly another person from Asia or Europe also mentioned they bought one from Taiwan. I think the price was around $400 for the whole unit.

Can one of you guys who bought these please send or post information on ordering these? I would be interested in buying a couple units if I can get them shipped here for a reasonable price.

Do any of you other American engravers know of a stateside source for these.

They would be legal to import since GRS patent on the machine ran out in Sept of '04. So patent is really not an issue now.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ray

I was interested in the machine also. Could not get any info from that thread. He posted some info about a honer. I found it on the internet but it was more expensive than GRS. The new GRS machine looks sweet, going up as high as 8000 spm. Although I never seem to go even to 4000. I seem to have more control at the lower spm. Maybe that will change with more practice.

Bigauston,

What is the brand name on the front of the machine? is the manufactures name on it? I use the Gravemiester machine but have been thinking of moving to the Grave Max to eliminate some of the noise. Any info you can get off your machine would be greatly appricated. Thanks Fred
