Saburo Bowie Knives
Hey,
Does anyone out there have any information on hand-crafted Saburo-Japan Bowie Knives? I recently got 2 of these at a garage sale, one is titled "The Warrior." I am having a rather difficult time finding any information related to this brand of bowie knife. Please either post under this thread or just e-mail me if you can give me any information on these. I really appreciate it! Jim Spears |

welcome to ckdf, jim.
sorry i can't help (no response on a couple of search engines) but i would guess that these are some sort of production knives, considering the source. good luck. __________________ wayne things get better with age ... i'm approaching magnificent |

Hey, Jim
I also have a Saburo-Japan. I got it through Finger Hut about 7 years ago. And some one sold one exactly like it on e-bay for $76. Mine is numbered but I don't recall the model name. |

I've had a few from many years back. One a take-off on the Hibben Rambo III, a survival type with hollow handle and a converting push type knife. The big ones got me $50 and the push knife was $45 from a swap meet dealer selling other knives.
