Victorinox ..... patience.
Victorinox ..... patience.
As I commented in the post Victorinox model Victoria, now you show Victorinox model in silver. In this model I had to take a lot of patience because the knife is very low but the quality of completion of the engraving is exactly the same, that if a larger knife in question. Features as small scissors around 4mm wide blade and burned at about 3mm surface. The arms of the scissors are about 2mm wide and internal engraving is 1.5 mm in this space is so small 1mm sheets taped to your shade. Doing this type of steel engraving of the "heavy water" is a very difficult and requires a highly refined technique. Show some photos and with a one euro coin, to assess the size of the knife. Normally work about 15 recorded increases in the use binocular (microscope) but in this case I needed to work 25 increases well. I could not grasp properly engraving, as my camera and have some time and the resolution does not allow such delicate prints, but at least is perceived to give an idea of the piece in hand "with the light microscope. Thanks as always and I hope that the photos are of your liking. Montejano ---------------- Victorinox .....santa paciencia . Montejano ----------------- Engraving scissors is about 4mm wide and the arms of the scissors are 2 mm, if we discount the edge I need to enter the engraving on the inside, you will give you an idea of the small space. |

I absolutely love that Montejano. I carry one of those every day and your designs are really nice. I can appreciate how difficult it must have been considering the small size of the knife.
