Wow, Joe, that is scary! I'm glad that you are up and around and hope that the follow-up goes well.
All the best, Steve

an update: Joe had a triple (I think) bypass last week. It went OK and he is home resting. He is answering emails. I'm sure he could use a cheerful word...

Thanks for the updated post Tracy. Joe is indeed home, and he dropped me a line late last week to say he is feeling better. The doctors told him to rest for another couple of weeks before he returns to engraving.. We are all wishing the best for a speedy, and complete, recovery Joe... Best, Rich.

Thanks guys for bringing up the thread again. I needed to update it. I had the heart attack on June 11 and by pass surgery on Aug 27. Currently I am going to physical therapy 3 day a week and that is really helping. This week I started engraving practice plates for a couple hours a day. I go back to see the heart doctor on December 2 and expect to be released. I feel really good now. Looking forward to getting back up to speed with the engraving and doing some fishing.

Glad to hear you are doing better. I too have stents (5 of them) Hope the bypass goes well.
Our thoughts and prayers are wit you.

(How about that nifty haircut you get for the stents procedure!)

God Bless
Mike

Thanks guys, I am doing a lot better. I am starting to feel brand new. I am more active now, but just don't have much endurance.

When I had the stent they cut the hair just around the entry point on my leg. For the by-pass they cut every hair they could find from my neck to the tip of my toes. Not a lot of fun. Most of all I disliked the tubes down my throat.

Joe

Joe I am glad you are doing better. It will take awhile to build up your stammina, just go slow and easy. But you are right about the tubes, they just s__k!! Take care.
