When I was picking up tips from our friends, the Mrs. had accompanied me so she heard and saw what I did. Most her's are petite at sub 5.50" in length. Here is one from a couple years back. She does a few a year and her motivation was to just see if she could do it.

Very nice! Nice pic too. Welcome to the KN forums. Hope you find it as informative, stimulating and friendly as I have found it to be.

Hey.. I MADE a knife.. almost identical to that one.. except I put file work on the back of the blade.(hmmm.. don't have any pictures of it tho)

She makes knives.. like me.. or I make knives like her.. LOL... I'm sure she has never heard of me.. as I don't really sell knives.. I just make them for dust collectors. (I got desperate and sold 4 of my knives on Ebay.. put them up for grabs and each one only sold for a little over $50)

IF you put a female knife maker's knives next to a mans.. I doubt you'd really see much difference.
Of course everyone has their own style. I've seen some knives so ornate and beautiful that I'd never use it ever.

One of the makers challenged her to make a knife since she had "attended class". Here are two more:Gary House Blossom and Lace 1095/15n20 damascus with a .10 VS diamond in thumbstud. The other Devin Thomas 1095/ni raindrop and MOP.
