Living History Knives by Browning collection

I have been collection knives since I was 15 years old. And I have never collected production knives. In the Dec. issue of Blade Magazine on page 49 is an add for Browning limited issue of six Living History knives in a displaycase. I know that 4 of the prototype knives were made by Arkansas Master Smith's. I have ordered one,I know the Master Smith who made it. My queston to the knife nuts out their would the prototype of the model I orderede be a good purchase, the prototype is priced right and is marked on the left side with the maker's stamp and the right side is stamped PT-1 also I have option to get the prototype display case from browning which is a little smaller than the one they went with. Thanks for any feedback

If it's a nice knife and priced right and you like it, buy it. I'm not a collector at all, but it makes sense to me to buy a handmade prototype from a mastersmith. It NOT a production knife and if really made by a mastersmith it should be pretty good.
