A pierced top lever
Thought this might be a good subject for criticism.

Barry,
At first glance it looks like what it is, a pierced top lever. On closer inspection some of the interior looks raggedy...like the piercing was done after-the-fact and a broken drill bit was involved. What's the "rest of the story"? Tim __________________ http://www.adlamengraving.com |

Well Tim, or should I say"Mr Moderater" it was done with a very sharp .020 drill bit, a 4/0 jewelers saw, a 110 degree carbide graver and a mornings time. The work is done to match the rest of the already existing Italian engraving. and it does.
The rest of the story is I thought it looked amusing with the nipple ring in it, but I guess it was not as funny as I thought. |

Looks as though you may need a little more practice with the jewelers saw. Can't say that about your graver skills though. Is that your nipple ring cause us American's don't seem to mix nipple rings and shotguns. Hum maybe in NYC they do. What was you doing when piercing the lever. I guess you can say you take your work to bed with you

Sorry Barry, no offense meant.
You had asked for a critique, and I assumed that something went wrong with this lever. My mistake. A scanned image makes things look weird, and I didn't get the purpose of the ring being there. Maybe a better image next time? Tim __________________ http://www.adlamengraving.com |
