a bear skull I scrimmed

Until I design a new website I registered with photobucket.com so I can upload images to show in the forums. The following is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I met a taxidermist that wanted the skull scrimmed last year. It was a lot of work but it was so much fun.

Thanks for looking and I appreciate any comments,

Lori

Lori - That is way nice. Now anyone who looks at this skull will know what was the last thing on this bears mind.

Very nice Lori. This is the first scriming on a bear skull I have seen. Very cool.

Lori :

Great work. I congratulate him and I am surprised to have accomplished it on the skull.

A greeting.

Thank you very much! I appreciate all your comments!
As much as I like to scrim on knives, pistol grips, etc., getting the chance to scrim on something out of the ordinary is great!

Oh WOW! Lori that is awesome! Love it!

(I had no idea a bear skull would be so narrow!)

Katherine,

Thank you!

If I remember the skull correctly, the part I scrimmed the bear on was about 3 1/2 inches across (don't think it was over 4 inches). I have the measurements somewhere...

The taxidermist I did this for at the time had an African lion skull and a hippo skull as well. Can you imagine the size of them - especially the hippo! I was practically drooling - wanting to get my hands on them! Maybe some day...

Thanks again,

Lori
