Incredible art work.

Here is the website of a young pen maker here in Canada who colaborates with various artists. Maybe this is a resource for you -

Mike, I doubt that Tighe would be interested. He thinks any synthetic material is junk, and I don't think the paint will stick to titanium! ;-)

John, it sure would be nice if Lorena got a web site up and running. I've been involved with the pen universe for several years and there is a market for fine hand painted pens. Most of the pens seem to have been painted in Russia, but I think some nice Italian artwork would be a great change of pace. Post a link if you get a web site up. I'll pass the info on to my pen manufacturer and dealer network if you like.

Sure is giving me some ideas!

David

Thanks for the positive comments. Jerry she doesnt sell the work as such, she accepts private or company commissions to paint on collectors pieces, whether they be knives, lighters, pens etc.
The pens shown are all Limited Edition series done for companies who sell the pens onto collectors. The knives are recent prototypes for companies who commissioned her to paint on their knives in order to give them an idea of what she is capable of and what it would look like on their products. At this moment in time she is going through the stage of looking for companies that will appreciate what she can do on their products.

Her site is www.artenchant.com

My favorite quote from her home page:
"With the ever increasing advent of mass produced machined artwork, we like to think we are putting the 'Soul' and personality back into artwork."
Computers and milling machines doing art? HAH!

Nice site. Thanks, John.

David

Dave sorry i missed your post, i think we both posted at the same time, thanks for offering to pass her name on, it's much appreciated. Yes we are aware of the fine quality work by the Russian miniaturists and have a great appreciation for their work. Strangely enough Lorena has a series of pens on display at the St Petersburg Hermitage museum, in Russia, depicting historical icon art scenes. Luckily she can incorporate a large arsenal of different styles and painting techniques into her work.
