New Project Smith & Wesson Model 42

Here is a Smith & Wesson Model 42, that I just started to engrave. This is a remake of this model and it was reintroduced at this year Shot Show. The frame is made of aluminum, the barrel and cylinder is carbon steel. It has been polished it to a high bright finish. When it is complete the frame will be blue anodized, while the cylinder and barrel will be blued. I will update everyone as it progresses. Thanks for looking.

I have just added an additional photo of the sideroll I just finished.

Tony

Best, John.

John,

I like cutting it. The sideplate was a lot softer than the frame, but it was still easy to cut. I will up date this as I go forward

Thanks,
Tony
