(re-upload) Cattaraugus tanto.

Turned this old P.O.S Cattaraugus WW2 knife into a traditional tanto hybrid. Honestly, if I had to pick the hardest part of this project it would be wrapping the handle. But in the end, the knife came out to be a stunning and functional one of a kind piece. A steel mekugi, fuchi/kashira/guard are now gun-blued, real black ray skin inlay, and a copper habaki (look it up). This was one hell of a learning experience for me and I am completely satisfied with the outcome. I have no idea if I'm going to sell it, or hang on to it. Either way it's a badass knife !!!

Good job cleaning up the blade. I don't make Tantos because of the wrap which I don't know how to do. Nice wrap, well done and looks like you know how. Is that copper on the ricasso?

Yeah, it's a copper habaki. I'm completely self taught by means of Youtube.
