Tru oil
Ed, have you ever used Tru Oil on desert ironwood?

Tried to....my advice is don't. At best it will work for a little bit, then it will start peeling/flaking off. At worst you have a gummy mess on the ironwood thats a pain to remove.
Best thing I've found for Ironwood is to finish to 800-1200 grit, then a light buff with pink no-scratch....finished off with a couple coats of good paste wax. __________________ WWW.CAFFREYKNIVES.NET Caffreyknives@gmail.com "Every CHOICE has a CONSEQUENCE, and all your CONSEQUENCES are a result of your CHOICES." |

Thanks Ed, I suspected that Ironwood might be a problem.
