Vegetable tanned leather sources?

In the past I've bought locally from Tandy for the convenience. Not the least $ yet fair-pretty nice quality and I can inspect the cut. Making more fixed blades and with leather prices as they are, it's hard on the wallet. Any recommended sources to check into?

I buy Weaver mostly (not a big Tandy's fan). I know the guys at Weaver and Chuck always pulls a few select s##es out for me and has them at the Blade Show. Below wholesale.... I've made Chuck and his buddy some pretty special leather knives in the past.

Will check them out, thanks Carl!

I messed up some sheathes and had a few do-overs that consumed up what I had. I have not bought in over a decade so seeing the prices was eye opening. As expected yet with all the inflation, more wallet hurt. The consumable supplies are practically 2-3X.

And Yet ... everyone balks when you raise your prices on custom work.
Seigals was my goto back in the early days but He bowed out of the business. Used to send me some high quality stuff back then.

A hard balance. The mental perception of what is acceptable pricing and what just goes over the edge.
Raw materials is all up then add in shipping along with the fabrication process and it becomes pricey.
