Polymer Clay / PVC Knife Scales

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if there is still a market for polymer clay knife scales? I use to work create wonderful knife scales, but had to stop for a little while. I wanted to work my way back into the market, but I am noticing that there are no online suppliers and I do not see any selling at all. Can you guys, the knife makers, let me know if you would still be willing to use polymer clay knife scales or give it a chance?

Thanks.

Rio Grande Jewelry Supply has a full line of polymer clay for scales. I think it is available in silver, gold and copper. I have never thought of it for scales, but the possibilities are endless. There are probably other "clays" that can work. I would love to see some pic's. ...Teddy

There was a trend several years ago of using Polymer clay for scales.....the problem is they are very fragile, and it quickly lost it's appeal.
