prostitute dagger (1st dagger)
Hi fellers, well I just finished my first dagger!! It has a forged hay rake tooth blade 3 7/8" , steel guard, and for the handle I used an old Sheffield sterling ferrule and MOP handle. It's 7 1/8" overall. Y'all can see it at my photo site. Thanks for looking and as usual, your comments are always welcome...Bud www.msnusers.com/outoftheashesforge/horn.msnw |

Looks slick, I wouldn't give it to a prostitute though. |

dagger
Very nice, prostitutes have good taste too.Would I be out of line if I asked just what it was she traded for it?[kidding]Your goat horn handled plow blade knife was also very interesting.I have a knifemaker friend that buys all the old fancy letter openers and shoe button hooks he can find -just for the handles that he then uses on neck knives ect.-Glenn- |

Re: dagger
Well done Bud. Did you find it difficult keeping the blade striaght during forging? That's a cool little dagger. Prostitute dagger huh? Would that be sort of like a gamblers derringer? |
