Framelock Questions.

So I have really been wanting to make my own framelock after I bought one this summer. The big questions I have are: After I cut out the lockbar and such how do I bend the bar out into place. is there some kind of jig I should have or do I just bend it till it looks good? Also the detent. I know what it is but how do I get the ball bearing in it with what sized bit and what sized ball. Also how do I know where to put the hole on the blade so it remains shut?

You might be interested in the book, "My Way" on Amazon.com. It answers all those questions and has photos of each operation.
