Anvil stump
Ok so I finally bought myself an anvil. Went with the Atlas Tools Graham. My previous was what I believe a 40lbs stake anvil with the stake cut off.
Anyway so I bought a few treated 4x6’s. Planing on making a stump out of them. Had them cut in half to fit in my car. Figuring I need 35” to top of anvil. I need 26” stump. So should I pour a footing for the stump to sit on or bury the other 22” in the ground and pour around it. Thanks in advance Chris |
